Ingredients:

- 1/2 cut honey
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips ( not needed )
- wax paper
- square glass baking pan
- Knife
Now, finally we get to the actual cooking.
- Put oats, rice cereal, sunflower seeds, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl and stir with a spoon
- Combine the brown sugar and honey in a pot.
- Heat the mixture on low and stir for 2 mins or until the mixture is smooth.
- Mix in oil, salt, and vanilla. Next add the choc chips and stir till the chips have completely melted. Then, turn off the stove.
- When the wet mix in the pot is still warm, pour it into the bowl with dry ingredients. Stir until they are combined.
- Place a sheet of wax paper into the glass baking pan so that the paper hangs over the sides of the pan.
- Pour the mix on top of the wax paper in the glass pan.
- Use your hands to press the granola firmly into the pan. Wait a few hours for the granola to completely cool. ( You can put it in the fridge to cool quicker. )
- When the granola bars are fully cooled, carefully lift the wax paper out of the glass pan. Then cut the snack into bars or bite size squares.
I hope you enjoy them! I haven’t tried them yet so you can try them for me.
